Environmental & Sustainability Consultant (Lead level)
Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in Silverstone)
Salary: £42,000– £50,000 depending on experience

As our client portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking an Environmental, Compliance & Sustainability Consultant to play a central role in delivering sustainable event frameworks and supporting clients through complex environmental standards and accreditations.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on client facing delivery role, offering the chance to shape sustainability practices and operational efficiencies across our clients.
Working with the wider team, you will combine technical environmental expertise with consultancy capability — guiding clients, supporting audits, developing practical tools, and driving measurable improvement, leading on management systems for our sports customers, events and venues - specifically ISO14001, ISO20121, ISO9001 and sustainable supply chain standards.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants to influence the future of sustainable sport, living/moving in the Northamptonshire/Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire area.
Key Responsibilities
Leading in establishing sustainability guidelines, processes, and performance measures for our clients. This includes leading audits, preparing reports, tools and templates for the customers
Preparing & deliver workshop on these standards for our clients
Support the implementation of environmental standards and accreditations, including ISO 20121, ISO 14001, ISO9001 and sector-specific frameworks
Manage accreditation research and submission processes
Support audits, assessments, and major projects, including onsite delivery
Identify recurring challenges and develop scalable tools, tracking mechanisms, and resources
Lead the development of a sport-focused Sustainable Events Toolkit to:
Share best practice
Train stakeholders
Track and report sustainability KPIs
Enable benchmarking and continuous improvement
· Support and develop a small internal team
· Support the wider team with documentation, research and client retention
· Support the wider Senior Team in nurturing and inclusive culture
Skills & Experience
5+ years’ experience in sustainable event management
3+ years in a managerial or leadership capacity
Strong, demonstrable knowledge and experience of achieving environmental standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 20121 is essential
Strong client facing experience
Solid understanding of technical environmental concepts within the events/built environment sector
Right to work in the UK
Experience in one or more of the following:

Italian language skills
