Job description:

As Sustainability and Certifications Manager, you will represent the company in supporting clients to shape their sustainability strategies driving engagement with partners and fans. You will need to be proactive, a good communicator, team player and have an independent, well organised and problem-solving attitude.

Please note this is a hybrid position which requires at least 2 or 3 days at our office in Silverstone and  travel to/from clients. A full driving license and availability of a car is a requirement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create internal client briefing packs and benchmark with competitor analysis, market position and critique on existing sustainability progress against strategy, so that the team can position consultation accordingly;

  • Client facing consultation across a broad range of sustainable business challenges including all ESG strategies, partners meeting, concepts creation on sustainable activation and other;

  • Knowledge of ISO standards including ISO 14001 & ISO 20121;

  • Previous experience implementing and maintaining management systems ensuring compliance with ISO standards, specifically ISO 14001, ISO 20121 and ISO 5001;

  • Knowledge of the HLS (High Level Structure) for ISO certification;

  • Some experience carrying out pre-assessment and third-party audits and providing the necessary audit reports;

  • Client management with excellent communication skill and can-do attitude;

  • Support client requests on operational sustainability, including GHG and carbon calculations, ESG event framework, workshop creation and queries related to framework such as ISO 14001 and ISO 20121 (please note we have a specific department for the latter which can supply training);

  • Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations in response to tenders and requests for new and existing clients;

  • Support the wider Enovation Consulting team (including Director, Associates) on a number of different high-impact external projects;

  • Lead the Enovation Consulting ISO 14001 accreditation, including the creation of documentations;

  • Create supporting materials for meetings to aid productivity and decision making; 

  • Demonstrate high quality Engagement to projects to maintain our high quality customer service;

  • Helping scope new projects.

Candidate Profile:

Essential

  • BSc/ BA/ MSc/ MA in geography/ environmental science/engineering/ sustainability subject or similar (other qualification accepted too);

  • Project management skills;

  • Attention to detail;

  • Independent, problem-solving, can-do attitude;

  • Proficient in MS Office;

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written);

  • At least 3+ years in a similar role, implementing ISO management system relative to ISO 14001 and ISO 20121 including client management;

  • At least 2+ years of team management;

  • Knowledge of GHG calculation, UK and EU innovation fund, CDP and SECR reporting;

  • Must have a driving license and access to a car to commute and travel to clients when required.
